Mikey Brown is starting a disaster preparedness consulting firm. I shit you not sportsfans!

I spit water all over my laptop when I read this story a day or two ago. I thought it was a friggin joke. No way this jackass would be so pompous as to think he could enlighten or educate anyone on the face of the earth about disaster preparedness..perhaps about walking his dog or looking good on camera..but disaster preparedness..

How long will Tommy Boy DeLay be smiling now?

It seems Tommy's former aide, Michael Scanlon has taken a plea and will sing like the proverbial bird for the feds. Mikey has admitted that he conspired with "others" to defraud four tribes that operated or wanted to operate casinos here in the good ol US of A. Mikey is now looking at a paltry five years in prison and also agreed to pay nearly $20 million large in restitution for his crimes. Mikey Scanlon admitted that he and an unnamed lobbyist conspired to charge the tribes a huge shameful amount of cash and split the profits. Now, when I say huge..I mean like roughly $80 MILLION in THREE years from said tribes. The "unnamed lobbyist" is none other than Jack "the ripper" Abramoff. You remember Jack..he is currently indicted in Jeb Bush's state of Florida for the purchase of a fleet of gambling boats. A purchase I might add that was done with smoke and mirrors..ol Jackie didnt shell out squat but said he did, even fabricated the documents that the Banks required showing his share of the down payment was made.But thats another story for another day..

So in closing I would just like to say this...Mikey better sing long and hard about DeLays involvement. The Dept Of Justice is spearheading this little get-together, specifically the Public Integrity office, a division that oversees the prosecution of elected and appointed public officials. Several elected officials..namely one Tom the bugman DeLay should be worried. He might be able to piss and moan about Ronnie Earle's political motivation for going after him. But..I SERIOUSLY doubt Tommy can say the same thing about the DoJ's investigation. Keep smiling Tommy..the boys in prison love guys like you. They could wipe that smile off your face in a NY minute.

That last thought is just a whimsy of mine..Tommy would go to a federal pen aka country club. IF...he does any time at all.

I will be attending the premier of the new WalMart documentary tonight. Its being shown at our local jr. college..thats if I dont work another 10 friggin hour day..

I worked till midnight Wednesday and now I cant freaking sleep..but come hell or high water I am going to see that movie..I will write a review afterwards..

When Earle hands DeLay a Lemon..he tries to make Lemonade

Tommy boy is nothing if not money grubbing..he is now using his indictment to solicit reelection funds and distribute derogatory information regarding Ron Earle. On his website, TomDelay.com he has the following propaganda regarding Earle:

“Ronnie Earle’s previous misuse of his office,” which highlights failures in Earle’s career such as his unsuccessful case against Republican Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison in the 1990s.
“Earle asks for a Do-Over,” which focuses on the prosecutor’s decision to seek a re-indictment of DeLay on different charges after DeLay’s lawyers raised technical questions about the first indictment.
“Coming Soon: The Ronnie Earle Movie,” which highlights reports that Earle allowed a film crew to follow him during parts of the DeLay investigation.

This man will stoop to anything to discredit Earle. I have never seen such a concerted effort to attack a District Attorney anywhere in the United States. Plus he is attempting to fill his reelection coffers using the sympathy line: “Help Tom fight back,” or this gem: “Join thousands of conservatives across the country in the fight against liberal DA Ronnie Earle,”

Only the Repubes make it all about liberal vs. conservative. Its about breaking the law Tommy Boy..not what your voting record is, or what party you belong to.

Hopefully Texans will see through this smokescreen..we can only hope sportsfans.

I love Firefox!

After using it since last week I find it loads faster and has some excellent add-ons or extensions as they call them. I like the weather one which sits in the margin on the bottom of the right side of the browser and it includes a radar screen which comes in handy today since its supposed to rain. I love that you can open a tab instead of a whole new window. The tools drop down window has more options than IE does and if a page doesnt work right in Firefox, as some sites are not user-friendly, there is a right click option to view the page in IE if all else fails. So far I have only found a couple sites that I frequent regularly that dont operate well with FF. If your a G-mail user, there is an add on for that so it will notify you when new mail appears in your inbox. The yahoo and google toolbars work fine, they got the bugs out from when I tried to use FF about six months ago. You can also block annoying ads from ANY site by downloading the "Adblock" extension.

I have blogged about Michael "fucknut" Brown's inability to address the obvious whilst holding a position of authority within our federal government. To see a previous post on what they should do to him go here.

When the man resigned his post his first comment was he was going to "walk his dog". jesus christ, hes into his pet more than I am for gods sake...unfortunately at the wrong fucking times.While people were dying in Na'lins, he was looking for a dog sitter..this according to the newly released emails this dipshit was sending to co-workers and the like. Isnt this jackass married? Couldn't his friggin wife deal with the damn dog? Or perhaps the dog was more important to him than the people fighting for their lives.

When he received the following email On Aug. 31: FEMA official Marty Bahamonde sent Brown a desperate e-mail from New Orleans, calling the situation “past critical.” Describing patients in temporary emergency shelters, Bahamonde wrote, “Estimates are many will die within hours.” Brownie replied: “Thanks for the update. Anything specific I need to do or tweak?”

I am fucking floored.I am appalled that this ignorant sumbitch couldnt figure it out. I am however NOT surprized. Thats the saddest part of all really... This man is clueless. And W hired him, or Krazy Karl I dont know which..anyway someone in the WH hired this freaking dipshit. For a position that requires instant reaction to major events that affect hundreds, thousands sometimes millions of people.

The emails are a snapshot into the brain and its innerworkings of one Michael Brown. All I can say is...the man needs to stay the fuck away from me..seriously.

Bush dodges questions about CIA leak cover-up in South America

Dont you know this just makes my day? Thousands of miles to our south people are taking his name in vain and pumping his candy ass full of questions about the Bush hunta...ya gotta love it, I know I do..

This is the most that fucknut would say on the subject:" Your trying to get me to comment on the investigation and thats something I am not gonna do"..damn dude..they just wont let it die will they?

May he hear questions in his sleep, may he burn in his own personal hell for all his transgressions against the citizens of this country.

I finally went over to the other side..browser -wise

I am making a concerted effort to leave IE and use nothing but Firefox. I have played with it for over a year and it seems to have less problems and junk in the trunk. Firefox has a ton of useful extensions and my spyware program doesnt keep telling me some fucking toolbar extension is trying to load itself into my start up menu or some kinda shit. Less bugs means happy browsing. I hope anyway..we shall see..does any of the two folks that frequent this blog have preferences on browsers ..if so tell me why..I am comparison shopping.

Todays view on Scooter's current predicament is from Dennis Kelleher. A short resume on him: Dennis Kelleher is a legislative director for a Democratic senator. He was the deputy staff director and general counsel for the senior Democrat on the Senate Committee on Help, Education, Labor and Pensions and he was a litigation partner at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

To me, its does seem like a no-brainer that an intelligent person would not attempt to lie his way through a Grand Jury & TWO visits from the FBI. Unless he had others that could cover his tracks or back up his lie it makes you wonder why Scooter had a brain fart of this magnitude. Kelleher suggests that if you follow the timeline, Scooter lied to cover-up Cheney's involvement and prevent a pre-election scandal from derailing the Bush/Cheney re-election.

Rosa Parks was buried today. This tiny little woman with her glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose has gone on to the other side.

I love what Barack Obama said today about her: "And yet when the history of this country is written, it is this small, quiet woman whose name will be remembered long after the names of senators and presidents have been forgotten."

Wal-Mart, the high cost of those low prices.

This documentary opens today..probably not mainstream but it opens nonetheless..I am not a fan of Wally World..I hate them and their useless, lazy, rude, underpaid, uninsured employees. I hate their habit of going into areas and opening a ton of stores when just a couple will do. I think the majority of their products are cheap, horribly-made and will very seldom last past a year. The majority of their products are made outside the US. The founder Sam Walton, was a tight-ass of legendary status. That man could squeeze a nickel till it screamed. The employees are usually uneducated and in alot of instances bordering on mentally disabled, since intelligent people wont work for a company that pays so little and expects so much in return. Their benefits are non-existant unless of course your in management..THEN they take care of you, but not on the level of most corporations their size. There are now groups out there dedicated to bringing this huge corporation to their knees, and sportsfans, they do their homework. Walmart's growth has slowed to a trickle over the last few years and for this fact alone I am very happy. Two watchdog groups are at the forefront of taking down Sam Walton's baby..Walmart Watch and Wake up Walmart both of whom have the exec's at Wally World shaking in their collective boots. Walmart now has a war-room, hiring some of the best PR spin doctors in the business to change the way we view them. Walmarts stock as dropped drastically(27% since 2000) and the people they covet the most, middle america are shunning them due to bad publicity and high profile personnel problems/lawsuits. I love this part of the article regarding a report that Wally World itself commissioned : A confidential 2004 report prepared by McKinsey & Company for Wal-Mart, and made public by Wal-Mart Watch, found that 2 percent to 8 percent of Wal-Mart consumers surveyed have ceased shopping at the chain because of "negative press they have heard."
