Iran's president is better at avoiding questions than Bush is. He never answered the important questions and basically, in my view, controlled the entire interview. He used the interview as a half hour bash fest on America, Britain, Israel and our current President. The only thing he would say about Israel is that they don't belong in the Middle East, they belong in Europe and of course that they are killing women and children. He refused to acknowledge that Hezbollah is doing the same.
He refused to answer direct questions regarding Iran's supplying of finances,bombs and other weapons to Hezbollah. He refused to answer a direct question asked numerous times, about a comment he has made many times regarding wiping Israel off the face of the earth. Other people may think Wallace was rude and short, I think he was frustrated that the big questions he asked were ignored or spun the other direction.
The President of Iran is just as good as spinning bullshit as Bush, Cheney and Rove. He was rude to Mike Wallace on several occasions and confrontational, but all the time, kept a smile on his face.
