Weathervane McCain was trying to furiously move away from Charlie Blacks recent remark that has all the news pundits foaming at the mouth lately. It didn't work too well for Johnny. If you have been under a rock for the past day or so, here is what dumbass had to say:
Asked if McCain would stand to benefit from a terrorist attack on the United States, Black answered: “Certainly it would be a big advantage to him.”
Oh yeah, McCain and his minions would get down-right giddy if we had another terrorist attack on American soil. Charlie himself is trying to disown his own words for the love of christ, but there is a slight problem with that scenario I believe;
The attack would happen on a Republican's watch. Specifically George Bush's watch. How that would help McCain is unclear to me since it would very obviously show that giving the Idiot-in-Chief everything he has been screaming for on his 'War on Terrah' didn't do a damn thing to keep America safer.
Perhaps Charlie Black, the lobbyist that works as a lobbyist for various thugs around the globe, feels the intelligence quotient of the average American is on par with that of a dandelion.
I of course pray it isn't. I hope that most of America hav by now figured out the Rethugs are nothing more than warmongering fuckwits who scream 9/11 every chance they get, hoping to line their pockets and those of their contractor cronies with more of the taxpayer largess.
Sadly, anyway you paint Black's comment is it ugly. It's narrow-minded and it reeks to high-fucking-heaven of opportunism and political bullshittery. Should we expect more from candidates and their advisors? Of course..but then we should also expect them to be truthful and upstanding citizens too..
And that ain't gonna happen any time soon..oh hell no.
