Today is the Dalai Lama's birthday. Its also the day that Babs shit out Dubya too, but we won't dwell on that darkness. Thanks to FranIAm for letting me know its the Dalai's day..a man who practices what he preaches and brings light to all the dark corners in the world through his message of peace and non-violence. He isn't planning any festivities however..not with all the bullshit going down in Tibet.
He is 73 years young today. Sure, its not really young, but the man is a spiritual guide to millions and we all need to keep him around on terra firma as long as possible.
Dubya could "leave this earth" this afternoon and the only person that would notice would be his dippy wife, and methinks she would be downright happy if he vaporized immediately.
The Dalai would like nothing better than peace and autonomy in Tibet..but alas, the Chinese broke off talks. Fuckers..Hope China chokes on the Olympics..because I know the athletes will..worse air in the world there..
I hope we will see peace in his lifetime..but I ain't holding my breath on that.
