Rahm Emanuel will be Obama's Chief of Staff?

Rahm Emanuel, the fourth ranking Democrat in the House, has accepted Obama's offer to be his Chief of Staff. MSNBC is reporting this, more as it becomes available. Obama offered him the job immediately after winning the election last night.

Update from MSNBC:
Democratic officials told NBC News that Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel was offered the job of White House chief of staff, which he accepted. That was a top priority, because the chief of staff would help manage the appointments to come. A former aide in Bill Clinton's White House, Emanuel was re-elected to Congress on Tuesday.

Update two: MSNBC is now retracting that statement..Emanuel hasn't accepted it. tsk tsk...
