No news crew, no talking heads, its theNational Guard soldiers themselves that filmed over 900 hours of horror, gore and life in Iraq during their tour which began in March 2004. It opens today. You can find the nearest showing here. It was directed by a woman who did NOT go to Iraq,but provided additional footage shot here in the US and gave the soldiers guidance. The Producer is Robert May who executive produced the Academy Award winning FOG OF WAR,about Mac the Knife and the Vietnam war.
