Bush vetos Stem Cell Bill,the House fails to override his Veto

The Shrub was true to his word, vetoing the Stem Cell Research Bill. His brillant statement was this:

"It crosses a moral boundary that our decent society needs to respect, so I vetoed it," Bush told backers at a White House event."

Hope there are enough votes to override it...but it seems unlikely according to the Repubes they lack the two-thirds majority.

This sucks pond scum..through a straw even.

EDIT: The House failed to override the veto by 51 votes, even though the majority of americans favor stem cell research.
