To continue the thought re: Voters Rights Act..

Mike over at Live from San Diego provided a link to a recent OpEd piece done by Jack Kemp on the subject of the Voters Rights Act. The D.C. Fair and Equal House Voting Rights Act (H.R. 5388), introduced by Rep Tom Davis, R-Va., and Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., would add two voting members to the U.S. House of Representatives - one to represent Washington, D.C., and one to represent Utah. Kemp, a dyed in the wool Repube states very eloquently the history of the GOP and then blasts them for not being on the correct side of VRA. Its a good read and I would like to suggest you check it out here. He states its a civil rights issue, and the man ain't lying bout that is he? It gives me hope when a Repube writes something good and true about civil rights in this country.

I just read here, that Hot-tub Tommy is playing sly and saying he might run after all. He said if the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals doesn't do right by the Repubes, he will run..

wtf?

Dude..you gave up the seat..they had a party and everything for you..stay down..please dear god in heaven..stay down in VA or TX or anywhere but the House of Reps.
