Per this article by AP, John Kerry's sister, who works at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and is the mission's liaison for non-governmental organizations,refused to meet with Ms. Sheehan and others trying to deliver an anti-Iraq war petition. They were allowed to do this in 2005. This, from the article:
Kerry refused to meet with the women in the presence of Cindy Sheehan and the news media. She testified during the trial that the presentation seemed like a publicity stunt.
I think her brothers last publicity stunt kind of fell on its face. But for some reason, John Kerry's sister doesn't allow others to include the press when they are making statements. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Cindy and several others received a sentence of conditional discharge, which means if she is caught doing the same thing within the next six months their ass is in real hot water. She also rec'd a 95 fine for court costs.
I have never been a big fan of John Kerry. Now, I really can't stand his sister. Thanks for supporting the peace movement bitch.
